In tourist areas like Owen Sound the high summer rates remain in force until September 15.
All hotel rates include a continental breakfast. You may be able to beat this rate by further negotiation

 | Conference Hotel This is well located on the harbour. It is where we will be holding our Banquet, Awards Dinner and Final reception on Saturday. There is a good walking & bicycle path along the harbour with historic plaques every few hundred yards. The hotel is 10 minutes on foot from the Owen Sound Marine and Rail Museum where we will hold the Thursday Registration and about 12 minutes by car from Georgian College where we will hold the full day Saturday program.  | Days Inn Owen Sound This location is in the city just off highway 10 and a 3 minute drive to Georgian College where we will hold our full Saturday Program. The hotel has a pool. It was once a Holiday Inn and hosts several conventions. Recently it hosted the International Shipmaster's Conference. The special room rates for the AGLMH conference are $125 + 13% tax per night. The special room rate for the AGLMH conference are $109 + 13% tax per night. Note, they sometimes have special rates as low as $69.99 + 13% tax. You can check this out.
